The Toyota Supra A91 Edition is a limited-run GR Supra with a 382bhp turbocharged six-cylinder engine, capped at just 1,000 examples worldwide.

The Supra A91 Edition is a limited-run version of the GR Supra built for the 2021 model year, with production capped at 1,000 cars globally. It shares its 3.0-litre turbocharged six-cylinder engine with the standard 3.0 grade, but adds finishing touches found on no other Supra.
Those extras include a carbon-fibre rear lip spoiler, carbon-fibre wing mirror caps and matte black alloy wheels. The name “A91” comes from Toyota’s internal development code for the car, a detail most owners never learn.
The BMW-sourced B58 engine, used under licence by Toyota, produces 382bhp in the A91 Edition, up from 335bhp in the earlier Supra generation. That jump arrived with the wider 2021 update, the same year the A91 launched.
With that power on tap, the car covers 0-60mph in roughly 3.9 seconds through an eight-speed automatic gearbox. Top speed is electronically limited to 155mph.
One of them is. Buyers could choose between Nocturnal, a black finish, and Refraction, a blue shade created specifically for this edition and unavailable on any other Supra.

The interior is the A91’s strongest selling point. Seats are trimmed in Alcantara with contrasting blue stitching, a combination that doesn’t appear on any other Supra trim.
Each car also left the factory with two exclusive Alcantara key gloves and a bespoke boot mat. Small touches, but ones that matter to buyers chasing something collectable.
At launch, the recommended price sat at $55,990, roughly $740 above the previous year’s Launch Edition. On today’s used market, prices typically range between $40,000 and $53,000, depending on mileage and condition.
Cars finished in Refraction with lower mileage tend to hold their value best, largely because that colour was reserved solely for this edition.
For buyers wanting a Supra with a bit more identity, the A91 stacks up well. It delivers the same well-sorted mechanicals as the standard 3.0, wrapped in a visual and interior package that isn’t repeated elsewhere in the range.
It isn’t the cheapest way into a Supra. But for anyone who values exclusivity and a few extra details in the finish, the A91 remains one of the most sought-after versions of this generation.
