Kia EV3 GT 2027

The 2027 Kia EV3 GT is officially confirmed for the U.S. and Europe with dual-motor AWD and an 81.4 kWh battery, but Kia USA has not published official MSRP or a full GT spec sheet on its site.

The base EV3 was revealed in May 2024 as a dedicated compact electric SUV. Regular versions use 58.3 kWh and 81.4 kWh battery options, a 150 kW motor, and a top speed of 106 mph.

Kia’s U.S. page confirms the 2027 model year with five trims in the EV3 lineup. Estimated range goes up to 321 miles on the Wind FWD and 280 miles on the version shown. GT pricing and complete GT specs are not listed there.

In Europe and Korea, Kia added the EV3 GT to the GT family in 2026. Production is scheduled for the second half of 2026. That positions the GT as the performance model in the electric lineup.

What do we know about the 2027 Kia EV3 GT?

What we know is the 2027 Kia EV3 GT uses an 81.4 kWh battery, dual-motor AWD, and a combined output of 215 kW, about 288 hp.

Regional releases list 292 hp equivalent, 468 Nm which converts to 345 lb-ft in U.S. spec, and 501 km WLTP range in Europe. U.S.-focused outlets cite 345 lb-ft, 0-60 mph in 5.4 seconds, and an EPA range of 280 miles for the GT.

MSRP in the U.S. has appeared in specialty outlets between $45,890 and $47,385, but Kia USA has not published a single official page bundling all GT numbers. That makes the figures consistent across sources but not fully official.

Cargo space in cu-ft, curb weight in lbs, towing capacity, and EPA mpge are Not officially disclosed on Kia’s U.S. site for the GT.

When will it arrive and what does it mean for buyers?

It will arrive with production starting in the second half of 2026, but official on-sale date, trims for Brazil, and local homologation are Not officially disclosed.

For U.S. buyers, the GT brings a larger battery and AWD performance to the compact EV segment without an official MSRP yet. Without a factory spec sheet, comparisons on efficiency and value remain incomplete.

The GT is real for the U.S. and Europe and still a blank for Brazil. Final judgment will depend on Kia’s official U.S. powertrain sheet and pricing.

Would you wait for the GT or take a regular EV3 Wind with 321 miles first?
