The hybrid system produces 175 hp in the Active trim and up to 212 hp in the Boost, Comfort and Sport versions.
Higher trims are rated at 1.4 L/100 km with a charged battery, equivalent to about 168 mpg under WLTP.
The 18.3-kWh Blade battery provides up to 105 km, or about 65 miles, of electric-only driving.
BYD has not announced a U.S. MSRP or launch date. The model is currently planned for Brazil in 2027.
